New NON-fiction book written by my dad, Edward L Pipkin, about the structure of the atom. This is a short, ~30 page book written for those who enjoy physics and novel concepts associated with atomic particles. I edited the material and enjoyed learning about the history of what we think the atom looks like and the building blocks of the universe. Dad introduces novel concepts based on thought experiments, research, his Physics degree from FSU, and ~40 years as a research scientist at NSWC Panama City in Underwater Acoustics.
