We started in Memphis at BB King's Blues Club on Beale Street. Made the obligatory stop at Graceland then south on 61 thru Tunica, Lula and Clarksdale, MS. Stayed at the Shack Up Inn for two nights while we visited the Blues Hall of Fame and Ground Zero Blues Club. "Went down to Rosedale" for the best tamales at the White Front Cafe then to Cleveland and Greenwood with a stop at Dockery Farms and a salute to Itta Bena. Said goodbye to 61 in Baton Rouge but toasted our completed mission at the New Orleans House of Blues! Learned that you can't just hear the blues, you have to feel 'em.
