So the "Sabbatical" went incredibly well. Wilson had the front and side porch but I had this incredible 12 x 17 back porch that contained nothing but a folding table, my laptop, and my imagination. What an opportunity! When not writing we read Stephen King "On Writing" and absorbed the new DawnLeeMcKenna series. Walk along the river at dawn. Cafe Con Leche at 8:15 after completing the first hour of work! Book 2, in 3rd person! And most of Book 3 done. This is about to be a great new-start.

Just completed a 2-week sabbatical, writing in Apalachicola FL with Wilson Roepke. It was re-invigorating and creative dynamite. 2B/2B cottage with porches in front and in back. Wilson took the front, I had the back and we wrote. 0600 walks along the river and 1730 "debrief" at Oyster City happy hour most afternoons. Book 2 and Book 3 are nearly at first draft. Thanks to Wilson's follow-thru in setting this up, I'm back. I can see this getting done and I'm ready to move forward.
